My Education
Born in Georgia, I have loved living here all my life. I am a product of Fulton County Schools and graduated from Roswell High in 1991. Following High school, I received my teaching degree from Valdosta State University. As a fan of the Crimson Tide, I am happy to have received my masters degree from the University of Alabama. After teaching 10 years in Fulton in grades 2-5, I completed my Gifted Endorsement last year.
My Personal Info
I married my highschool sweetheart 10 years ago. After traveling, and quiet living, we now have two little boys ages 1 and 3. We live in Woodstock and have most of our family close by. We attend church in Alpharetta.
Things I Enjoy Doing
As a busy mom, I enjoy spending most time off with my family. We attend playgroups, go to parks, shop, and spend as much time outside as possible. I spend other time engaged in reading good novels. This summer I read Moloka'i by Alan Brennert and Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. Gardening is a newer hobbie for me. Last summer my talented mother guided me with my pots and containers garden. This year I was successful on my own. Finally, I have taken an interest in digital scrapbooking. It is a great way to keep up with the many photos we take of our fun children.
Future Goals and Dreams
I look forward to more traveling in the future. Italy, Spain, and more of the Carribean are on my list of places to go. Watching a Shuttle launch is something that my husband and I hope to be able to do with our children some day. Finally, I feel that becoming fluent in spanish would be beneficial to me.
